Barabara, I bow down to you. You are an amazing woman. To run 26 miles the day before the Crash-Bs and 10 miles the day of is insane in my mind. When I do a 2k all out erg piece, I try to take it easy the day before. I am impressed with how well you did. You are a true Loonie!

[quote="Kona2"]Starting to see a few signs of Image in the area....Concept2 may have to call it the Mud Season (although it truly is muddy season during snowmelt...or we HOPE that it's mud that's on our boots...ugh)...but we know the March Challenge truly is the time when EVERYONE is a little bit IRISH, and some are more IRISH than others, Karyn G. Earn your 5K Image or your 10 K Image every day here on the forum, and make sure you get on the honor board.

This Irish lass was in a daze yesterday. I completely forgot it was March 1. That means I've already lost an erging day this month. Oops! I did get up and hop on the erg this morning. Let's go Loonies! March Mudseason Madness is upon us. We can do it!

Not quite a PB, but I was still quite happy with my HM this past Friday.
I was feeling pretty good, and thought I would try to get to a 2:00 minute split for the distance.
As I was getting fairly far along, I thought I might even be able to get to 84 min.
I finished at 83:40. My only faster time was 83:35, and that was 11 years ago.

Image Day 3 of the Mudness Madness Challenge !!

How Can You Be a Mudness Madness Winner? The more you row, the better your chances....

Row or ski at least 5000 meters a day (2500 meters for kids and adaptive athletes) during the month of March and enter your meters in your online logbook.
During the month of March, we will hold a prize drawing every day from all of the people who row or ski at least 5000 meters that day (2500 meters for kids and adaptive athletes) and enter it in their online logbook. The more days you complete 5000 meters, the more days your name is in the prize drawing! On randomly selected days during March, we will also draw for an additional prize, from those who complete at least 10,000 meters (2500 meters for kids and adaptive athletes).
Prizes are Concept2 clothing. Drawings will be held at (or soon after) noon the next weekday following the challenge day, so be sure to enter your meters promptly! We will post names of winners on the website.

Last Year's Winners: And note that the dates of the dual drawings haven't changed much since the inception of this Challenge (would LOVE to see it less predictable!)....so today is a good day to do the 10K for better odds of winning! We had TWO Lunie winners last year....
