Firmware update on PM4

Post by RogerR » February 23rd, 2015, 9:57 am

I tried upgrading from V.3.13 to 3.18 on my PM4. The Windows laptop is online and data transfer from log card works just fine. When trying the upgrade I get error message re firewall but firewall is deactivated on my laptop. Tried same thing on Mac with same negative result. Please advise. Thanks.

Are you updating with laptop or logcard?
I think you have to be connected to internet while updating the PM from a laptop. If you are behind a firewall that may block some ports, it may explain why the update fails?
If you get a firewall message while updating from logcard, I don't know why.

It's a MacBook, online and no firewall. I am trying to upgrade the PM firmware using the C2 utility but gives error message. Citroen, do you know?

I don't know anything about how you are connected to internet or about your internet service provider, but are you connected trough internet trough a router? It can be possible that it block/don't forward a/some port that is need be used through the update?

Have you tried another internet-connection?

As you have not got any anweres it's just my suggestion :-)

You've lost me as soon as you say iPhone, iPod, iPad or Mac(anything). I've not used ANY Apple product at all since using an Apple ][e in high school.
Send an email to rowing@concept2.com and see if they can help.
