Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
I have enjoyed your posts, Lisa. I think you can transition out of this role knowing you have helped a lot of people stay motivated.

Thank you all for your kind and supportive words!! I truly appreciate it. The season goes until the end of April, so you'll still have me to kick around for a bit longer!!

On the penultimate day of the 2015 VTC, we're alive and kicking!! We've vaulted into 16th place ahead of Arlington-Belmont!! (Boy, if that's not a name for a crew team, what is? ) Nice rowing, team!!! I'm still coughing my head off and get winded halfway up the stairs, so I'm unable to put up any meters, but I'm with you all in spirit!! 25 of 86 members (29%) logged 267,644 total meters Friday!

Lisa,
You've been the constant presence that always provides fun and encouragement over the last couple of years. I certainly hope you stay around as you would be sorely missed.
Thanks so much,
Lee

I see we are still hanging onto sixteenth but it's certainly close.
After making my goal yesterday I finished off the challenge with my first FM. Feels good?

Congratulations on the marathon, takes a huge effort to get through it. I did my first this season also, and felt it for a couple days ( I tackled it without any paddded seat )lcantey wrote:I see we are still hanging onto sixteenth but it's certainly close.

I know that I rarely post anything but I do come here and lurk. Lisa, you are one of the main reasons why I keep coming back. Thank you for all your work, your motivation and may the best always go you way.
Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Can't imagine . I row without a pad for normal pieces but when I did my first half marathon Lisa turned me onto using a simple garden kneeling pad and for the extended rows it really works well.dag1 wrote:I did my first this season also, and felt it for a couple days ( I tackled it without any paddded seat )
