That Oatmeal comic reminds me of something Glen once posted, which I thought hilarious:

oh man did you all see the socially positive televised sporting events today? they were so amazing!! There was the team and the other team and they played against each other and everyone was like "WOW, THE BALL!!" and the other team was like, "OH NO!!!" and the players ran and threw and fell and spit, and OMG that one play with the penalty and the fans cheered and the scores happened and PLAYOFFS and SUPERBOWL YAYYY!!! I almost forgot about the coach and the ball when the teams were like "we want the ball" and the other team was like "we want the ball" and then they were like "WE have more points, BOOM, where are my millions?" and budweiser was like "here are your millions, don't spend them all on cocaine... ah who are we kidding, snort away, you're on tv"

I now realize that the next time the UN convenes a conference on the Rights of the House Pet, it's not enough that I recommend they set up a 9-judge panel to decide which people's "doggy voice" should be made illegal.
It's obvious that they must also set up a mechanism by which large dogs can bring grievances against their owners for giving them names more appropriate for poodles!
