Drop the damper lever to somewhere between 5 and 3 (df between 135 and 115) and you'll enjoy your first 2K much better. It'll be more "fun".

That's assuming that anyone can enjoy an all-out 2K.

UJust was wondering what you were trying to say until I read your last sentence!

make it 17.

Jason Ferry "Snajo" 24/m 6'0" 182lbs Hill AFB, UT

The rowers at my gym must be wacky... most of them have drag factors that top in the low 100's at highest settings... I found one that hits about 135 at highest setting. Our cardio equipment is in a pressurized 'bubble' building at an elevation around 4200ft. I doubt that has any noticable effect.

As for my 2000 meters, I'm not feeling all that frisky. This will be my first try too.

Now, we're up to 19 ... with a few novice rowers joining recently, which says that anyone can join and take part in the fun ... no need to be fast, or a long-time rower/erger!

Regards ... Mark ...

I'll ask one of the desk people, although given it's a military club I'll probably have 16 forms to fill out.

I ussually use a certain one... I assume it's the newest (or least used). It also doesn't face any of the tv's. Coincidence?
