We've finished setting up the webcast pages - and put a test file in place to help you test your computer set up prior to race day.

To register for the webcast visit:

http://www.concept2.com/sranking03/webc ... asp

Once you have registered you can book mark the crashb webcast page. I've put a test file in place (a race from the Euro Indoor Rowing Championships) so that you can determine if your computer is configured correctly to view the race. The volume of this particular file is very low - so don't worry if you have a hard time hearing the sound.

see you in boston!

-bill

Some publications would even have it as Crash-b.

Merriam-Webster, among others, has a lot to answer for in changing face of English. I may need to consult with my learned colleagues at IBM - we have an internal newsgroup for discussing matters of English style. Or perhaps we could discuss it with our resident English professor Rich Cureton.

I am computer illiterate so is the test telecast supposed to have a constant clicking noise as when you click on a new area of a Web page or am I doing something wrong

Otherwise the reception is great. Creedence in the background helps!

Hopefully the kids get to see their mum in action even tho we are 20,000k's away

..Chris

And while the acronym has "stops" after each letter (except the "B") in the banner at the top of the page ("C.R.A.S.H.-B Sprints"), as used in the text of the "history", it's CRASH-B, all caps, and is used as a plural noun, referring to the group that started (I gather) in 1980.

HTH,

Alissa
