Happy Holidays, Team TimBukTOO!

Hang in there for that Holiday Challenge!

Nice to meet another Bill the Cat fan.

So your picture may be a good test of one's outlook on life. Is this gingerbread dude dying from a hard row, or is he getting pumped up by doing some modified/easy push-ups? I'd like to think that he's doing an extra push-up workout.

Regardless though, I'd like to thank Lisa and the Cap'n for motivating us through another year of rowing.

Good luck with the upcoming challenges everyone and stay safe during the holidays.
Oh No Mr. Bill! LOVE IT! Great "Concept" artwork!

I've been alerted to the fact that some holiday challenge earnings didn't match up to what people see on their own pages. I added a few more folks to my database who are on the 50k honor board, but remember, I have to have you marked as adaptive or child in my database or else I can't figure things correctly... And if you don't let me know there's a problem, I don't know. Thanks for your understanding.

I wonder why my logbook says "Your Challenge Meters:
850,000

Your Money Raised:
$34.00"

Do they deduct a dollar form each rower??? I logged in my meters and then notified of my injurie and havent rowed since but I think they should say to the teams what they say to the member, ya know???

That said, Happy Holidays AlL! I hope you all have the time in your life that lets you feel loved and appreciated.

My First Mate has ended a sentence with a preposition. Oh, the shame! And just days after Gary posted this model sentence: "This virtual relationship is a good one of which to be a part."

You need to take that basket over to Grammar's House, before you dangle a modifier and the Big Bad Wolf chomps it off!

Smart as in: "While working with the preposition "of", Gary smartly deciding it wasn't a word with which he would end his sentence!"

Time for a lesson.

Ending a Sentence with a Preposition
At one time, schoolchildren were taught that a sentence should never end with a preposition. However, this is a philosophy actually associated with Latin grammar. While many aspects of Latin have made their way into the English language, this particular grammar rule is not suited for modern English usage.

it's a whole new world order if anybody can just decide which words to end a sentence with.
