Logged In?

When I jump from my logbook after logging my meters for the day, I use the link to get to the forums. At that point I am listed as a guest and need to log in again. Is there something I am doing wrong or a way around this? I'd rather log in just once.

There's a option on here to remember your id (in a cookie) and stay logged in. The ranking system has a similar feature.
