CRASH-B Webcast

Post by [old] c2bill » February 22nd, 2006, 2:54 pm

hello all - this topic area will be monitored during the webcast- comments, technical issues etc can be posted here during the day.

For now i encourage everyone to preregister for the event and check their computer settings. Visit:

http://www.concept2.com/sranking03/webc ... asp

then bookmark the webcast page so you can return later. Viewing the webcast will require a high speed internet connection and the 'real' player. I have put a test file in place for now - so when you visit the crashb page click the start button on the player to test your computer's settings.

-bill

I applaud the C2 team. The webcast was a fantastic service to enable those around the world to be part of this great event. I was glued to my monitor for the full 9 hours :? .

c2Bill even arranged for the cameras to focus on rowers we requested through the UK Chat Room 8) ! What great service!

Next year, I'll be in Boston!

Awesome show everyone!! For all of us who couldn't come we thank you.

I think I need to go back to the drawing board to upgrade my stroke. With the replay I can watch the best of the best, set up a mirror in fromt of my erg, and try to emulate them.

Thanks again to all for their hard work,

grams

I thought the webcast was great. :) I watched a lot of it while visiting in the C2 UK site's chat room, which Bill was monitoring. If we expressed an interest in a particular competitor, he'd arrange for some more shots of them for us. It was all great fun to watch and I hope someday to make it to the event in person.
