Look for it - Friday and Saturday night!
This weekend's super moon is the first of three with the other two occurring in August and September. Thanks, Jane, for getting the word out!
And, wouldn't you know it, our Palindrome Queen, Norma is introducing a WHOLE NEW palindrome....it's a palindromic reciprocal. The number reads the same forward and upside down. One palindromic reciprocal is 1961...and another is the 906 that Norma gave us today. And I hadn't even had any coffee yet. Whoa. Now I have to pay attention to backwards and forwards and upsider downers. Other palindromic reciprocals have and do occur in this forum...I just didn't know they were palindromic reciprocals. 808, 818,906,916,1001, 1111, 1691, etc.....
Season meters as of 72/365 = 16,708,753 m
Total meters on the day = 463,176 m
Teammates in the boat = 80
MILESTONES...Bragging Rights...Celebrations:
1.4 MM Ed
1.3 MM Richard T (with a bunch of meters!)
1.1 MM Steve G
800 K David A
Thanks, everyone, for rowing and ski-erging with us....and sharing new stuff !
Adian 165 m
Norma m ... a palindromic reciprocal..
Ross 4,412 m
Mike C 5,000 m
Rebecca 5,000 m

m ...well hula hula...also a reciprocal palindrome!
Barry S 11,016 m

Ah, you just HAD to love the Sixties! (Well, most of them. Some parts of that decade, maybe not so much.)

Ah, eau de wet dog! I CAN actually smell it, as next door's Golden is currently visiting; he stands in the pool to cool off. I wish we had some of your snow melt; California is facing one of the most severe droughts on record.
How thrilling is this; I'm queen of the boat, today, with a modest 11311!
It's been a l-o-n-g time since I posted the most meters. I know; all the uber-ergers took the day off ...

I love it when the team just hands me these gems! Danwho must have just been watching Clark Kent tell Lois Lane things were swell. All I know is that Minnie and Mickey went for a nighttime kayak experience, and SOMEHOW AJ ended up in the drink and lost his glasses. I do believe these were found later. The circumstances surrounding the overturned kayak have never been fully explained - and probably shouldn't be. We just are careful about putting Minnie and Mickey in a boat or boats...especially when Minnie feels Queen of the boatish. Snort indeed. Gotta love this team's antics.

Whoa....we have used up 20 percent of the 2015 Erg Season....and I'm not even 20 percent of the way to my first 100K....I hear there's a remedy for that!
Was a good day for erging in Lunie land! Still, what are the odds of two similarly named teammates (Barry and Larry) erging exactly the same number? There's probably an equation to determine that probability....but I'm not going there.
Season meters as of 74/365 - 17,135,831 m
Total meters on the day = 206,372 m
Teammates in the boat = 80

What are the Barry-n-Larry odds?
Either they called each other across a great number of time zones, and conspired ...
... or the Earth will shift off its axis and plummet into the Sun.
