Thought I'd post a couple of photos from the 24-hour relay this last weekend:

Me rowing blindfold (also had to wear a hard hat as I was the designated Safety Officer  ):

Kelly out with the water gun

We'd agreed there'd be no sleeping during the challenge but Brian Garner (Micromonkey) felt he had to have some sort of rest so he set the treadmill to a snail's pace and slumped over the machine, walking REALLY slowly:

We broke up the time by playing games like Twister (the photo looks worse than it actually is!):

And finally this is our Captain (Martyn Lowe) coming up to the finishing line!

You all look great!
So, what's with the goggles? protection from water pistols??

Last shot at Rugby Test tonight, yay, can't wait. I hope to chop my 1K for this test down to 1:50 (from 1:52.5) and I don't care what the other ones are as long as they are equal or faster than the pace boat from last time around.

I am so looking forward to the 10K, now there's a piece that's fun, decent meters, and one that has a PB that needs updating! :D

Rest. Or perhaps retching, if you're doing the test hard enough :)

My advice on pacing would be NOT to start out with a 1k season best, no matter how well the first few hundred meters go - learn from my mistake :)
