Guys, I'd like to invite you to join my team. We're called Taff Attack, and are the best-turned-out team on the UK circuit (and beyond). With a name like "Taffy", you'd fit right in!

Hey your no pipe cleaner fella.
What about you getting caught by cutoms last week? They said you were trying to smuggle Wolkswagons into the country!

I could cry -

Last week I put a big effort into the rugby test - 11:04.3. I didn't think I had much left but was determined to go under 11 mins come what may.

Last effort tonight due to holiday commitments so sat down, and worked out my paces. I wrote them on a piece of paper with a big black marker.

1000 @ 1:44
750 @ 1:42
500 @ 1:40
250 @ 1:40
750 @ 1:42
Total Time = 11:04, Obviously not right.

So I change the writting on the last 250 & 750 with the big black marker so they read:

250 @ 1:38
750 @ 1:40

Total time now = 11:00, right I thought, just need to go under each one by .1 of a sec and I'm home. Knew this would be though.

Did everything to the paper, and nearly passed out on the last 20m of the 750 - I was in confident mood. Until I read the report and found I'd rowed the 250 at 1:40 pace

NO!!! - 11:00.3

Splits:

1:44.0
1:41.9
1:40.0
1:39.4
1:39.8

I was well under the 250 is EASY!!!!
Doh, Doh, DOH!!! Stupid pen!

Chris, that's a tough break there fella!

You've still a few days left in the month so give it all you've got at the end of the week (give your body time to recover first!).
