My old knee injury- torn meniscus- was acting up- and rowing is the only cardio movement that I can go hard at- without any knee pain.
So my workouts are mostly erg and 3 days of lifting weights.
Good for the meters- but I prefer more variety- if I had the luxury of choosing my poison.

Going for a little more diversity and reintroducing myself to other activities that i love. Dusted off the bike and did a nice 20 mile ride today. Felt good to excersize outside.

Congratulations! Awesome accomplishment! Hope those knees rehab soon.

I've been off the rower a while now. Rotator cuff tendinitis in both shoulders, which I've had since last October, but was mis-diagnosed as arthritis. In PT now and it's feeling better, but rowing is off the table for a little while... :(

Shoulder tendinitis is nasty.
I have it in right shoulder, but can row. Can't dumbbell bench press.

Nice work! Did you move up to 7.5k?

All good things come to us eventually. 7 mill. just snuck up on me.
I'm just banging away on the erg these days.
I try to do about 90 minutes of cardio on the days I don't lift.
Recently I have been Erging for 60, walking a half mile, then sitting back down for another 30 min.ialso warm up and cool down with half mile walks. It's great having an indoor track.
I am going to start upping the erg I tempo- but I have to always watch how much back I put into my stroke.
And as much as my meniscus can take it, I try to include some form of elliptical low impact work. ARC Trainer seems to be the lowest impact for me.
I have just about given up on the AMT. I go too long, and pay for it the next day.
