It has been a long hard time, I was out for surgery on my right calf. It has been a slower recovery and rehab then all. My knee surgeries and 2 shoulder. The thought process as I mentioned to Capt in an email awhile back was a just pulled muscle that per the doctor needed some serious rest. Well that didn't go well. Had a second MRI that should strands of torn muscle in the center of the calf that needed to be reattached . Thank good they didn't need to completely open up the calf. So the last 2 weeks have been tough and I finally got on the tower today. I got approval from the doctor. As long as I keep it short the first few times. Well once on it just felt so good and I kept my form and was a slow row with little breaks in between.

Tomorrow is an off day so will see how Monday goes. I have missed everyone, was just to bummed not rowing. More later.

The team has really missed you, and we're sorry to hear that it has been at the cost of surgery and suffering. PLEASE recover slowly and with care!! I know it must be driving you crazy not to be working out -- not just rowing either. Take care of that calf and stay strong!!!!
