Day 15 of 32....Get Ready to R U M B L E !!!
Concept2 refers to the WEC as the second team competition of the year - that would be of the CALENDAR year. For the 2014 Erg Season, this is the THIRD and final team competition of the year...and then we slide into 2015 starting May 1st. All the team competitions give us two weeks to build our teams, and then the team barn doors are locked, and the teams throw down their respective hammers and go for all the glory they can grab. We have been pretty good at glory grabbing since we're a fairly competitive bunch. There's some team pride involved in this as well ! We've got many teammates who have been pushing meters in a strong way, and now's the time for EVERYONE to ramp it up (yours truly included) and put on a show! Dig deep, Lunies! Start building that blaze for blaze of glory days !!

Whoop, whoop and hooyah! Congratulations, David T (aka Champ the reindeer), on achieving multi-millionairehood with your SECOND million meters of the season! We wish you many, MANY more!
He's A Meter Multi-Millionaire !!!
Whoop, whoop and hooyah! Twin celebrations of two million meter seasons abound in today's postings! I'm sure there's a cartoon for that! Congratulations, Dan W, on achieving a TWO million meter season! We wish you many, MANY more! And keep that offbeat humor coming our way!
Re: He's A Meter Multi-Millionaire !!!
Thank you. This is the first time Michael Anthony has visited me twice in a season. Hoping for more repeat visits in seasons to come. But I guess I don't expect to get to the point where he needs to add my address to his GPS favorites, like the addresses of some of my Lunie friends.Kona2 wrote: Congratulations, Dan W, on achieving a TWO million meter season!

We have some fine individual contributions to our team numbers as always. I've been calling these out primarily because of the huge amount of time dedication that is required - and the fact that we've had multiple megarower teammates pushing themselves (and I suspect each other) towards the top of the meter mountain (no lemmings involved, although I see a few ramsters). Congratulations to Richard T on achieving ONE million meters during the previous 15 days of the Challenge. Congratulations to Ed for cracking the top 10 ! If it were me trying to stay in the top ten output category, I can tell you there would be those days when you check the list (probably several times a day!) to see where you are and what your fellow competitors are knocking out for numbers...and upon seeing a deposit of 50000 m or so, would almost be enough to make you Lunie....Alice might be feeling that today!

Looks like we have 31 teammates between the OD and the Lunies teams (12+99 people = 111 ! that must be significant!) who are in the top ten percent of all meter producers. Outstanding !
Season meters as of 334/365 = 167,045,924 m
Total meters on the day = 695,653 m
Oars in space (participation) = 23 percent
