Well, I'm a couple of days late posting, but didn't want to let it pass. Zander, I rowed my 8's for you on Monday, and had the damper set to 8 as well - That is the highest setting I have ever rowed at for a full session, and it was hard, but you know what? I thought of you every time I felt like I couldn't keep on, and then I knew I could do it if I wanted to badly enough. Your achievements in spite of difficulties and hardships are an inspiration and encouragement to me. I am so glad you chose the LUNA-TICS as your virtual rowing family. I will miss you.

Ronnie, my prayers are with you and Zander's family.

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 3.13.14

Post by Kona2 » March 14th, 2014, 1:21 pm

Image Madness, I tell you...it's Madness! Day 14 of it...

Some say that the odds of finding a four-leaf shamrock are 1:10,000 ...slightly better than the odds of getting a hole-in-one in golf !

Image Bring on the Pi !! Today is International Pi Day....that 3.14159265 mathematical constant, an irrational number whose decimal place expansion theoretically doesn't end and never repeats...or so they say. I say have some pi(e) to celebrate! Or put a 3141 or so in your erging meter total if you wish !

ImageImageImage Twin full moons in the skies above our erging universe today...and why not?! As we get ready for the start of the third, and final, team challenge of the 2014 Concept2 season, many teammates are building their meter base for a great finish to their personal milestones and/or getting ready to do a full marathon as Michelle and Walter just did. Meanwhile, Ed has days where he throws down 25 or 50K meter sessions....enough to earn the smiling camel. There may be some debate about whether or not a camel truly smiles - but am certain that dogs do smile and laugh. Cats will think about it.

Season meters as of 318/365 = 157,621,307 m

Total meters on the day = 662,789 m

Oars in space (participation) = 33 percent

Oh, I don't know.
I thought I was smiling.
But perhaps I am just mad.
I'm told it's the month for it.
