Shamrocks are rockin !
Hooboy! Way to get us started on the Muddy Meters Challenge, Lunies! I see at least 37 Lunies on the honor board, and there's going to be a run on all those pots of gold ! Stellar!
She's A Meter Multi-Millionaire !! Again !!
Whoop, whoop and hooyah! Cathie's star is rising in the skies over Alaska once again! A mega-meter upload sent her rowing machine sailing over the THREE million meter milestone for yet another season! And putting a star up for her meters reminded of the Alaskan state flag, and the state song which describes that flag. Cool stuff. Congratulations, Cathie, on a marvelous accomplishment! We wish you many, MANY more !!
State song of Alaska is about its flag...
Eight stars of gold on a field of blue
Alaska's flag. May it mean to you
The blue of the sea, the evening sky,
The mountain lakes, and the flow'rs nearby;
The gold of the early sourdough's dreams,
The precious gold of the hills and streams;
The brilliant stars in the northern sky,
The "Bear," the "Dipper," and, shining high,
The great North Star with its steady light,
O'er land and sea a beacon bright.
Alaska's flag to Alaskans dear,
The simple flag of a last frontier.

Whoop, whoop and hooyah! Meanwhile, in the lower 48, another star in the skies above Arkansas! Congratulations, Jay, on achieving ANOTHER FOUR million meter rowing season! We wish you many, MANY more !!
Arkansas...the Diamond State! Hooboy! That four millionth meter is a sparkler in the sky, then! The song for this event would be "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds..."

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Well, it wasn't mud, but it was a wet mess, and it did seem a bit mad. I came downstairs from my row to a partially flooded kit.chen. The cat had apparently jumped up onto the island, and knocked on the faucet of the vegetable sink, and the drain plug was in place.
By the way, I split up the word kit.chen, because it seems to be some kind of a trigger word - the word was replaced with with something indicating that the post was sp.am.

Day 4 of the Madness !!!!
Hooboy! Those leprechauns are hopping mad....seems that they think that waaaaay too many pots 'o gold are missing. Actually, they said STOLEN. We're not revealing the sources of our gold - we just tell you how to earn it! And that's a give me 10K ... meters, that is!
teammates are currently in the hunt for shamrocks, pots of gold and Concept2 prizes. Last year, our team winners of the Concept2 random prize giveaways were Bruce, David A and Greg C - all beneficiaries of the random drawing from the pool of those who completed either 5K or 10K on a given day of rowing. So put yourself into the group Concept2 will draw names from ! You have a GREAT chance of winning....let's see...statistically that would be.....
