Still on the Time Trial Track

Post by Bob S. » February 22nd, 2014, 1:03 am

Common advice for someone starting a career is to start at the bottom and work your way up. Sometimes it works better to do it in reverse, like grave diggers, parachute jumpers, and those who use the Spenger plan for nonathlon competition.

Until today, I had regular TTs for the 3 short pieces and for the 60’ and the HM. In the middle lengths, I had only the 30’ and 10k, both at a slower pace for my 60’. So my goal at this point is to start filling in that gap. Naturally, I started at the top – the 10k, so that I could fill in all 4 with a new 10k pace. It worked – 25-6 point gain for each of the 4 for a total of 102 points.
