Edit workout

Post by tbartman » December 28th, 2006, 8:10 pm

Can you add a way to edit stored workouts (instead of having to redo the whole thing?). Say I have a great interval workout with paceboats, but I want to change some of the paceboat speeds. I have to re-enter the whole workout instead of just making the little changes I need.

(if I'm wrong, e-mail me at thomas.bartman@cchmc.org)

Also, I agree with wanting a backlight on the monitor that can be turned on and off.

I, too, would like a backlight, but as requests for this have been with C2 for at least seven years, I wouldn't hold your breath.

I've found that the Mighty Bright light (which is $17) works really well. Here's a link to my post regarding this on another thread, which might be useful for you as a workaround:

I cannot believe the PM4 does not allow editing of workouts. This has to be the most useful function I would want. When you have a workout that works well and you just want to change one parameter, you must recreate it from scratch.

I have a Model E, which is a great machine. The PM4 is also great, but it needs workout editing!

Is anyone at Concept 2 reading these forums?

Hi folks,

I know it doesn't address your desires directly, but I suggest you check out RowPro. This allows you to create complex workouts, more sophisticated pace boats, and edit and resave them. It also gives you the option of rowing online with others, if you like. It would be great if Concept2 improved the functionality of the Performance Monitor, but it is unlikely to be something that is coming very quickly. RowPro is free to try and works quite well.
