Hi Team,

Congratulations to all on your achievements!! I too watch movies while rowing - had to do a work around to get netflix over here but in now have a VPN from the USA that let's me see the movies and TV shows.

K2- I had my first day of volunteering 36 holes. I am tired but had a great day watching Ernie Els, John Daly, Sergio, Luke Donald and Henrick Stenson. Unreal how far these guys hit the ball. So much fun being inside the ropes. Can't wait to do it again tomorrow. Feet were talking to me tonight so only got 10,000 in...

We need a side bet on our football teams! I say the loser has to row the over all score in meters for a week I.e. If the score is 20 to 14. We would row 2014 extra for that week. Sound like fun?

Happy Rowing All,

Ed

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 1.21.14

Speaking of flying the flag of Jamaica.... the Jamaican bobsled team turned to crowdfunding to garner enough funds to go to the increasingly expensive Olympics. Their goal was 80 K to get new equipment (we're going to want to see an especially shiny version of the Jamaican flag!), and they raised 120 K....of course, we are used to seeing our Jamaican teammates Ronnie and Zander beat their goals, too.... :D Just goes to show you, people all around the world love to support those who believe they can do what they set their minds to doing !

Season meters as of 266/365 = 116,182,829 m

Total meters on the day = 1,142,254 m - whoop, whoop, and hooyah!

Oars in space (participation) = 41 percent !!!

... some of us have to work up to those mega meters you throw down routinely!
These are the sorts of grandiose ideas that seem fine and dandy, when first conceived ... then vaguely insane as the date approaches. It's been ages, since I pulled a 42,195 ... feeling a bit faint, already ... ! That said, who's with us??
(No one will know how long you take to complete the marathon, unless you post your time, yourself.) We can start our virtual training and motivation to build up to that heroic May challenge. Misery loves company; and all those fine platitudes.
