The Beast, Seattle running back - Marshawn Lynch - eats Skittles. Fans throw them on the field when he makes a touch down.

And really, if Thunder is going to New York he will miss the Superbowl in New Jersey.

Too funny and true! For most of us, the Superbowl is going to be "located" on whatever channel is broadcasting it.... I have enjoyed teammates comments on this very much !

VTC: Day 19 or 20 of 31....

Post by Kona2 » January 19th, 2014, 1:22 pm

Image Day 19 or 20 of 31....win or lose...it's all about HOW we compete in the Challenge... :D

One of the things that I watch for in the rankings is how the "gap" between teams is changing...and what kind of daily meters the teams are uploading. We are averaging about 20K ahead of Age Without Limits on a daily basis, for example. And, we are averaging about 30K ahead of Community Rowing Inc on a daily basis...which means we couldn't catch them at the current upload rate. We CAN be caught by Age Without Limits. And some teams below us may well be doing mega-uploads on a weekly basis vs a daily one. Lunie teammates in the ARMOONDA are kickin up some rooster tails (a high arching spray [as of water, dust, or snow] thrown up behind a fast-moving motorboat, motor vehicle, or skier), though, with the average meters per teammate in the Challenge. Way to go go go !!

1 FRENCH INDOOR ROWERS TEAM Virtual Club 23,294,053 373 62,451
2 Community Rowing, Inc On-Water Club 21,901,194 335 65,377
3 LUNA-TICS Virtual Club 19,828,490 140 141,632
4 Age Without Limits Virtual Club 19,545,298 222 88,042
5 Greenwich Crew On-Water Club 11,823,635 122 96,915

Congratulations to Terry M, Guinan Jane, and Bernie Shiao for reaching the 200K milestone in the Challenge - and getting those ever so important paddles for their canoes! Congratulations to new canoeists Chip, Danno and Steve C for reaching the 100K milestone! Go the ARMOONDA!!! Hope I haven't missed anyone...gets a bit more complicated as the VTC heads towards it's last one third and the grand finale! Fortunately, my teammates can help with course corrections as needed. :D

A rather humid start to the day up in the shed this morning, but a glorious sun rise as I was driving over the Sydney Harbour Bridge for an early start at work…

Go team luna-tics!
