Ugly weather also in the UK; much severe flooding. Stay safe and warm, y'all. (Send more sun-beach vibes from Oz, Baz!)

He's A Meter Multi-Millionaire !!! Again !!

Whoop, whoop and hooyah! Da Do Ron Ron is a FIVE million meter man today! Congratulations, Ron, on achieving the fifth million...amazing season! We wish you many, MANY more !!

Well, the 5th million just sent me down ANOTHER bunny trail....might have to watch this movie again...

In the twenty-third century, the universe is threatened by evil. The only hope for mankind is the Fifth Element, who comes to Earth every five thousand years to protect the humans with four stones of the four elements: fire, water, Earth and air. A Mondoshawan spacecraft is bringing The Fifth Element back to Earth but it is destroyed by the evil Mangalores. However, a team of scientists use the DNA of the remains of the Fifth Element to rebuild the perfect being called Leeloo. She escapes from the laboratory and stumbles upon the taxi driver and former elite commando major Korben Dallas.....

or for a more recent Fifth: The Fifth Estate (not as well rated as Fifth Element)

A dramatic thriller based on real events that reveals the quest to expose the deceptions and corruptions of power that turned an Internet upstart into the 21st century's most fiercely debated organization.

You're generating plenty of heat on the rower--you should be fine!

Congrats to you, Ron and Zander on your million/multi-million milestones.

Image Day 4 or 5 of 31 .... dig deep, Lunies!

Whoop, whoop and hooyah! The ARMOONDA fleet is growing! There are FIVE canoes in the virtual waters now....and must say that there is something about these canoes that always makes me think of the Longfellow's Song of Hiawatha....which I will, of course, implant into each of your brains for the rest of the day....at least the more well known lines...

By the shores of Gitche Gumee,
By the shining Big-Sea-Water,
Stood the wigwam of Nokomis,
Daughter of the Moon, Nokomis.
Dark behind it rose the forest,
Rose the black and gloomy pine-trees,
Rose the firs with cones upon them;
Bright before it beat the water,
Beat the clear and sunny water,
Beat the shining Big-Sea-Water

To the canoes, Lunies, to the canoes....we're heading to the shining Big Sea Water....

Same goes for anyone that hasn't been near an erg in the last 2 weeks due to holiday silliness :D

Another beautiful day developing in Sydney although TomO and I missed our ride down to the beach for an early morning swim as we came home yesterday!

So no more hot chips for breakfast

Congratulations to all the achievements and welcome to those who are new, and Ron, good to see you still “smashing” out some great metres…

Cheers, Baz

Hi Team,

Great to see new team mates! Baz great to hear your recovering nicely. Back to work this week Sun - Thur. Looked like some great football this weekend. I can only hope my Seahawks can play their best next weekend against the Saints. I promised myself that each time they made it to Super Bowl we would go. The last time was a lifetime experience even though they lost. If they make it this year I have asked for it off... Approved, but dang it will be COLD! Still a fan no matter what.

Tonight I hit 9 million life time meters! Trying to catch up to Ron! He set the bar high... Just what I need.

Kona I go for my briefing Tuesday for the Qatar Masters. Excited to volunteer. I know I work with the audio team for interviews. Pinch me must be dreaming!

Happy Rowing Everyone - I hope everyone passes their goal for the challenge.

Ed
