PM2/3/4 on Model B

Post by devix » December 7th, 2013, 7:12 am

Hi everyone,
I bought a Model B without any monitor and I would like to install a PM2/3/4 (used one).
What kind of supply do I need other than the monitor?

Thank you

I found this one http://shop-uk.concept2.com/index.php?i ... er=product
Do you think it should be enough to install it and a PM3/4?

There is some mounting hardware required. The US C2 site doesn't seem to list it any more, but they probably still stock it. I think that your best bet is to call C2 directly or email them at info@concept2cts.com

To install a PM2/3or4 onto a Model B rower you would need the specific bracket listed as:

Model B PM(X) bracket (insert pm number where the X is)

and you would also need the pickup sensor as shown in the earlier post, finally make sure that the flywheel still has the set of 3 magnets which circle the central hub, which is how everything is calculated.
I hope this helps.

Thank you for your replies.
Actually, I was close to buy a Model B when I realized it wasn't an original C2!!! Fortunately I figured it out in time.
Finally I found a pre-owned Model D with PM3 at the right price (I hope because in Italy is impossible to find a used C2!!!)
