Hooboy! Let one or two reindeer out, and pretty soon the whole herd is stirring about....we've got two new reindeer and a set of antler lights to celebrate this AM !

Image Ed, our man in Qatar, is adding to his stable. Yep, in addition to the camel ride, he now has a reindeer. Word is that Vixen is a warm-weather seeking reindeer.... Congratulations on claiming your reindeer, Ed, and capturing the first part of the Concept2 donation!

Jay (COMET)

Congratulations, Jay, on earning the Concept2 starting donation and claiming your reindeer, Comet.

And, close on the reindeer heels of Ben (Dasher), is Dancer! Ron has claimed his antler lights this morning, assuring us that the sleigh will be pulled by two lead reindeer with good lights. Now for the flashing harnesses....congratulations, Ron, on achieving 200,000 m in the Concept2 Holiday Challenge....he's got the pin ! And, he's earned $6 towards the Concept2 charity of his choice.

Big attaboys to Ron for earning those valuable antler lights! Way to row Ed and Jaybird, love to see that reindeer herd growing. I am sure Nat knows all about these things. That sounds like a wonderful occupation.
Thanks always to AJ for the beautiful graphics during this and other challenges. The January challenge last year was extra cool.

11 Million Lifetime Meters

Post by Kona2 » December 4th, 2013, 4:45 pm

Whoop, whoop and hooyah! What took me so long?! We interrupt today's rowing session to stop and celebrate the ELEVENTH million lifetime meter zipping by...and not on the log card either because I forgot to put it in when I started rowing. Oh the angst! Anyway....lots of hours on the erg, and writing about the erg. More writing about it than rowing on it. Now onward towards my magical 11,111,111 m that will be coming up in this very challenge!

Awesome job--such amazing dedication! (and also to all of the others whose recent milestones I missed, I keep meaning to sort back through them and congratulate everyone.) This team continues to be such an inspiration.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
and many thanks for all your efforts to keep us all energized!

Glad to be back "in the boat" and on the Forum on such an auspicious day!

Happy rowing,

Andrea
P.S. Yesterday's uploaded meters are from a number of sessions after being sidelined due to a shoulder injury.

Congratulations K2!!! It does not matter how long it takes... It matters that you do it!! As always appreciate your dedication and support. I will try to figure out how to attach pictures. Bought a new rower - I have a few coworkers coming over this weekend to try it out. Told them all it is a great workout and stress reliever for over here.

Happy rowing all,
Ed
