I find all the references to "bubble wrap" funny. I use two of those egg foam squares and they seem to work really well and have good venting properties as well. Better than the folded up towel I used to use.

A couple of those pesky powerhouse Ancients live in my zipcode, so still lots of time to row some uber-meters, today. (Sadly, them, not me!)Jodi wrote:Looks like we've moved up to third place...for now anyway. There's still a chance some meters haven't been entered yet.
No venting occurs when I use egg foam squares ... those suckers become pancake flat; but they do feel lovely when one first sits down! My hands haven't bothered me in ages, though I used to wrap them. Knees, however, are a basic design flaw.Jodi wrote:... wow...i want to be able to do that when i grow up :}just27 wrote:I just glanced at the Ancient's roster, and noticed that their #1 person is a 70 y/o lady who has rowed almost two million meters this fall challenge. Wow. Row on, sister! (That's gotta take a heck of a lot of bubble wrap.)
We don't underestimate you lot, though....only 2k meters ahead at the moment...Grohl wrote:Well done you looney lot.. huge amount of meters rowed this falllooks like it could be a close one for third place... only 70k meters ahead at the mo

... to wubba who! I looked at 4:30 and we were a mere 40K behind our Ancient nemeses ... now, at 7:00 pm we're 400K in the hole, and counting. Guess I won't come home from my neighborhood bunco tonight, and rowing like crazy to do that "go out in a blaze of glory" thing! Until the next time, y'all!
