When you think you're done, just pull another few large meters ... hooyah and whoot.

Working on that blaze of glory :) I hope we can move up before the deadline. I am hoping to get 10,000 in tomorrow morning. Anyone want to join me?

I have a confession to make...I am a hoarder. One more row tomorrow to hit my goal and beat the deadline and then I dump the whole kit and kaboodle into the pot. :D Not as great a number as some of you superhuman rowers on this team of Lunatics, but a record breaker for me, so I'll be happy. I can't wait to see where we end up. :)

Believe me / we have more than one on the team, and other teams have them also.

I figured, but I have a hard time not hitting the submit button on my ERG Data app after each row. So after having a problem with submitting one day I figured, why not hold on to them and put them in at the end? So that's been my motivation since then. Except for the day my iPod batteries were low and I had to hand enter rather than upload. It's been a great challenge but I have to admit that I'm looking forward to getting back to having some variety in my workouts, rather than just rowing.

Seven Hours of Rowing Each Day?

Post by just27 » October 15th, 2013, 2:46 am

I just glanced at the Ancient's roster, and noticed that their #1 person is a 70 y/o lady who has rowed almost two million meters this fall challenge. Wow. Row on, sister! (That's gotta take a heck of a lot of bubble wrap.)

Hi Team,

I am on Holiday this week over here in Qatar, one of the 37 Holidays we get over here on top of the 5 weeks vacation I negotiated. So I wanted to do all I could to help the team this week for the challenge. I wanted to do more but the back end was talking - no it was screaming at me. As a matter of fact it is not done talking to me yet. Have to get a softer cushion to ride on over here. I did get 125,000 meters in the past two days. It put me over 7 million lifetime meters.

Congratulations to everyone on your rowing! It is not easy as all of you have many outside interest that need your time, yet you all contribute to "our team".

Thanks for all the inspiration. Someone once said anything is possible if nobody is looking for the credit - that is our team. We all contribute and look at us go! Can't remember if we are on the way to the moon or on the way back, but ohhhhhh what a ride!

Happy Rowing All!!

K2 - check out the Doha course on line. Absolutely beautiful! I play tomorrow, can't wait. As always thanks for all you do for us. Very much appreciated!!
