Apologies Team for the week of inactivity, have been away on vacation!

My apologies for crappy FTC performance

Post by EdMcCarthy » October 12th, 2013, 12:15 pm

I had hoped to book 120-150k for the FTC but a non-rowing injury kept me off the erg for much of the past 3 weeks and when I was able to row it was only for short distances every few days. Kudos to all of you who turned in such outstanding results. Now I'll try to heal up for the next competition so I can contribute to that one more successfully.

I'm afraid that I am still a walking cauldron of viral infection, so hopefully a few more meters by the end of FTC, but it won't be much.

No worries, Ed! Heal up. We're not about competition so much as camaraderie. :)

I passed 5m lifetime meters sometime last week, but it looks like only 4.5m have been on the erg. I'll have to wait for my 5m meter club shirt. I will be back on the erg after the 26th. I'm racing in a quad at the last race of the season. Looking forward to that.
