Posting has been somewhat intermittent in the last week due to travel, and illness of a family member. It was a scary scenario to have an elderly relative come to Denver for a visit on Tuesday, and then wake up on Wednesday saying that he needed to go to the emergency room. Ended up with a quick surgery on Thursday for some repairs, and they'll release him today. The good thing is that there is definitely a support system here, so the timing of the health issue actually worked out well. I can say that now that resolution is in sight. Yikes.

Great to see all the impressive numbers racked up over the weekend. I was at our last big event of the season- an artillery encampment in Cambridge, VT. What made this encampment special was, that being held during the peak of the foliage season we had visitors from all over the country and the world. I met people from Israel, France, Great Britain (Wales and the Lake District), India and Japan. It was quite an experience Hope to back on the Erg today and contribute some meters for the Challenge,

Full moon fever! Hooboy! From the land of the midnight sun, two full moons blazed across the skies of the rowing universe! Perhaps they were an answer to a full moon from the heart of Mexico, where Rosi row, row, rowed..? And there were half moons and some guesses about half or full moons over Arkansas (Jim and Jay), over Israel and Czechoslovakia and Massachusetts. Way to light up the night skies team !
