The expression full of beans comes to mind - in this instance meaning full of energy and enthusiasm (with slight overtones of world dominance ). Very fun. And the mystery of just who he belongs to continues....although we have our suspicions.

It's a dry heat....not !!
It's officially the North American Monsoon season now, and that means more rain over what can normally be kind of high desert country. This affects parts of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Southern California and Utah...so many might not have experienced this. Of course, those who live in areas where there is like a gazillion percent humidity all the time are going to say....quit your whining! The National Weather Service calls it the monsoon season only after three consecutive days of dewpoint temperatures of 54 F or more, and I think Phoenix is the location where this is metered. Mostly that means that you get your outside stuff done earlier in the day, because you've got a good likelihood of finding good lightning and rain lurking directly overhead by 2:30 PM or so. Be careful out there...good time for some indoor rowing (especially if you have air conditioning...). The downside to all this sudden rain is that the fire burn areas are seeing some giant mud slides....whoa.

Well, far enough along that the old Model D is back in place. All that milage was from before the urban renewal project began. I was only able to manage an easy 10 minute row yesterday and will slowly work back to my usual insanity.
Sounds like a great plan ! Or maybe just skip the unpleasantness, have a good rowing session, AND eat the cookie(s)...
