Why Sears so high priced vs. Amazon & Concept for C2 Rowers?

Post by dscribe » June 28th, 2013, 12:21 pm

When I was shopping around for used or new C2's,I noticed that Sears was charging $1575 for the D model
with PM3 and $1840 wit PM4. Amazon and C2 were selling at $900 and $1050 for the same respective items.

Anyone have any clues about this HUGE price gap?

A lot of the online sellers have little to nearly no overhead; they buy and sell cheaply because they pay no employees, have no buildings, etc. Often, they also have no service. With a C2, the company may back the product sold online; i don't know. They make their profit by selling a lot of what ever it is at a small profit margin. Sometimes, it is a great deal; sometimes, it isn't.

I'm not surprised. Sears is run by dinosaurs.

I noticed Sears proce as well and I to was like WTH, I mean are they made of gold? Maybe they have some in stock so a buyer does not have to wait as long as if purchasing direct? Or, they just think buyers will not shop around, or they have a sear charge card but no the cash so sears charges em near double PLUS makes a killing on interest to boot....

( I just wish I could get my notice of shipment from C2... I didnt know they made em to order still...)

They don't. You should call customer service. They are extremely nice and will give you your order status on the spot.
