Our ruling orb of the night sky....wowzer, it's a bright moon here in the western skies, too.
Welcome to new teammate Nicholas L ! We wish you many great rowing sessions, and lots of camaraderie (and have no doubt that you will produce a sub-7 minute 2K). I think many of us wish that we'd had the opportunity to crew in college - a few have had that wonderful experience. Great thing about Concept2 and the erg is that it's never too late to be part of a crew, and you've joined a fun one! Wait till the team competitions....you'll be glad you have that shiny new erg accessible!
And, hey hey for the Monkees! Rich took the last train to Clarksville! It's a whole new adventure! Looks like Clarksville is home to several colleges and universities...

Wishing everyone clear night skies and a chance to drag the air mattresses out into the backyard for some night sky viewing (new moon after the Super Moon would be a good time to see lots and lots of constellations - and maybe a meteor or two ). Get out the star maps! Get out the bug repellent!
Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Thought I would check in. My rowing has been pretty much nil lately because I was really feeling under the weather, but I found out I have a pretty good reason for feeling "off," I am pregnant with my first child!
So, while I am tired as all get out, I am going to try to work to getting some consistent rowing in, even if it is shorter and easier. I am also doing yoga twice a week and trying to get in some walking and the occasional bike ride in if possible. (MTA: finding myself somewhat nauseous all the time, and rowing is no exception (and sometimes seems to make it worse) but it is something I just need to work through)

Well, I guess I now know how Peay is pronounced.... And, congratulations, Kerry on being stork-bound. We've had a few teammates (Jane N and Mary O, for example) who have rowed while pregnant. Erg would become urg, I think.
