I was just wondering the same thing! If so, now that the snow has melted, it MUST be time for K2 to host a non-virtual team party, on that gorgeous dock! Folding chairs optional ... :)

Hahaha! That gorgeous dock belongs to the village of Grand Lake. It's a great place to watch the lake happenings, and there is a great ice cream shop across the street!

So, what's up Dock :?:
Da Do Ron Ron
Maybe too many Copper Ales :?
What a coincidence. I was just reading an article about that Dock - about a new biography on the Believe-it-or-not life of Robert Ripley. And here's a fun fact: Robert Ripley was the model for Elmer Fudd.

Yeah, it is a little pricy. I average maybe one or two brews a month over the course of a year so it doesn't break the bank :D Your tractor is green. Does that mean you have a John Deere too :?:
Da Do Ron Ron
Well sort of my neighbor bought one so I could mow her Lawn  And the Tractor you see is From K2

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 5.28.13

Post by Kona2 » May 29th, 2013, 10:40 am

Hooboy! It's a rainy day!

Welcome to new team member Damian of GBR ! Here's wishing you many great rowing sessions as part of the year-round team!

Image Meanwhile, in typical Looney fashion, we return to the subject of javelinas. bg thinks this would be a good name for a track and field team, and given the speed with which the javelina travels (they can run up to 35 mph), they would be good running team recruits. And, indeed, these desert dwelling peccaries start running within a few HOURS of birth (and you thought human children were tough to keep up with). The photo is borrowed from the back of the Arizona Highways magazine and is a reprint of Larry Toschick's work.

Season meters as of 28/365 = 6,559,273 m

Total meters on the day = 290,725 m

Oars in space (participation) = 29 percent

Hi

I'm off to Mexico on Saturday morning - down to Gatwick after my final 10k at home tomorrow. I'm now on 920k lifetime so desperately hoping that excellence hotels in Cancun have concept2 rowers available to complete my million metres!

If not see you in a couple of weeks :P

Hooyah! Two more returning teammates showed up on today's tide....welcome back to Bruce and to Jerri !

Golf league day so I am a little behind in number capture...the winds were fierce today, and it wasn't all tailwind either. Still, any day that it's possible to get outside and enjoy the outdoors is a good one!

We are racing towards the conclusion of our first month of the 2014 Rowing Season! Team is posting some impressive numbers !
