Relatively speaking, Yes I'm feeling strong. I have a long ways to go, lots of doctors appointments and physical therapy sessions in my near future. I think I'm balancing my PT, Weight lifting, Running and rowing pretty well *knock on wood* I was talking to my physical therapist this morning, I don't know where I'd be without all the hard work I've been doing especially my rowing. I start my vestibular therapy on Monday. NOT looking forward to that
Like this pic better - you don't look like you're about to come over to my place to body slam me... lol
Is that your C2 Million Meter shirt?

Yes it's my C2 Million Meter shirt. Figured it was only appropriate to get a picture of me in it and use it for my avatar in a place that might actually know what it stands for

Finally settled into our new home - we just moved in - and I gave the erg a test run to be sure that it didn't get hurt during the move and to try out the new digs.

10k PR this morning to start off the new season :D

For a brief shining moment I was ranked #1 in my age group for the 10k - of course there were only 10 of us listed in the early hours of the first day of the new season

Great work last season, Team! And a very big thanks to Lisa and Izzz for keeping us motivated! I hope you both know how much we appreciate you two!

2013 was a good season for me. The first half was better than the second half, as I was plagued with minor illnesses from December through March. Overall, very happy withy the results, as I hit a few goals I set out to accomplish.
  • I hit my 6 millionth lifetime meter on April 20th
I ranked 97th in total meters for the 2013 season
My average daily meters increased from 10,559 in 2012 to 11,781 in 2013
My average wattage increased from 210.3 in 2012 to 220.2 in 2013
My average pace decreased from 1:58.5/500m in 2012 to 1:56.7/500m in 2013
My average ranking across all races went from 90.8% in 2012 to 95.8% in 2013
Most importantly, I keep in mind that in the last couple years I lost 30 pounds and dropped my cholesterol by 100 points simply through diet and exercise.

This 2014 season I'd like to get 4 million meters and drop my average pace down to 1:55/500m, which would bring my wattage up to ~230.5. This will be a good challenge because I am not getting any younger! Not sure I'm going for any rankings this year, but I might.

Best wishes to all this 2014 Season!

You're welcome. :) Nice to feel appreciated. :D

2013 was certainly my biggest season ever, even if it's not a biggie compared to some of our Big Dogs. I just did a little calculation and I ended up averaging over 5k a day. Not bad for this old broad.

And the calculator also did the numbers for David, who with over 8M for the season averaged a tad more than a HALF MARATHON. Every. Single. Day.
