Everybody has at least one song or such that they can groove to...Come on you're not telling me that your boogie genes are immune to this...

are you? No way!.... TMike
Groove to Stayin' Alive?! My boogie genes are SO immune to that! It just reminds me that 3 out of 4 Gibb brothers are DEAD, not alive! DEAD! How could I POSSIBLY boogie now?
It makes me so sad and weepy, that it's driving me to sew a doggie harness and place it on the pit bull next door, especially after what he did to the mailman, may he Rest in Peace!

Actually, it was after a warm-up of 1,080m, and an awkward 920m for the CTC monthly challenge (c2ctc.com) which I did in 3:00.9, moving me from #87 of 287 to #63. Of course, I want to break the 3 minute mark by the end of March, aiming for about 2:55.
I did do another 15,300m or so later, though, which should show up tonight.

Well, it was going great, still had pretty good cardio from biking last year, and I was coming along well with getting the erg muscles back. I picked a big (for me) number for the challange to test my knees, and I think they may have failed. Getting pain in my left knee again. I going to cut back some and go see the Ortho next week to see what she says. I am not giving up yet, but the knee pain is not a good sign.

Uh oh.... Good luck! Take it easy.

You probably already know this but it's a good reminder for us all and for our newer rowers... For me, I get knee complaints when I over-compress on the catch and get my shins past vertical (which I tend to want to do cuz I'm short compared to you big guys and feel like I want to get more distance to pull)...

Best of luck, and let us know the diagnosis!

I just entered a few days worth of #'s, so don't think it's all from one day :) Been having some back troubles, so I had to back off the marathon training a bit. That's one of the issues with having had back surgery in the past. So, I just back it off a bit and wait till it goes away.
