LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
thanks all for the congrats on 3 mill. trying for a 10,000 meter a day average for the year.
All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 3.18.13
Welcome to new teammate Lynne C of Sacramento. Lynne's been participating on the WEC team, and has also signed on for the year round team. Good stuff. And welcome back to returning teammates Anita and Lily.
We've slogged through 18 days of Mudness !
Even though the total number of participants on the 5K March Mudness Honor Board continues to decline, we have some amazing teammates who have rowed every single day of the Challenge! Woot ! For the 10K Honor Board and the 2500 m Honor Board, only 19 percent of the original starters in the overall rowing universe remain. There are 22 percent of the original starters on the 5K Honor Board. Lots of change every day.
And speaking of change, photobucket has recently changed its website layout and features. This is impacting the way that my graphics library loads (it is SO slow now). I know that several people on the team have photobucket accounts, and perhaps you are experiencing some of their growing pains as well. Arrrgh, I say.
Great rowing by all !

I knew you were getting close but didn't have visibility to the actual number. I am still 260K plus some change away from that lifetime meter number. Way to row...does that include ski erg meters?Drivetofast wrote:K2 only 22,593 to go for the big 11,111,111

A bunny trail....another episode
We've just sprung forward not too long ago, and here I am asking you to turn back the clock! We're going to the land of cartoon reruns from who knows what era. Rebecca's team profile picture reminded me of "It's the Wolf!"
Long ago, there was a cartoon that featured a spring lamb called Lambsy Divy (I kid you not). Lambsy was guarded by an old Sheepdog. All was not safe in this springy world, though, because there was a wolf that really wanted lamb chops or lamb pie or many other versions of lamb. Wolf plotted and plotted on how to snare Lambsy Divy...and just when the trap was about to close in on Lambsy, out of this cute little lamb would come this bellow of "IT'S THE WOOOOOLF" and Sheepdog would come rescue him from Wolf. Wolf would go flying - dispensed by Sheepdog's shepherd's crook. I liked that cartoon.

Thanks for the good wishes. I've got a long way to go to be close to so many of the LUNA-tics.
This is the plus side of it being in the teens on the first day of spring.
