Who are you competing against on RowPro
Who are you competing against on RowPro
OK I would assume if your using RowPro and your uploading your results to your logbook on Concept 2. Your most likely looking at where you rank compared to everyone else for the different distances. When you compare yourself what criteria do you use? Do you only compare your time to just RowPro entries? When you sort the ranking page do you do all ages or only your age group. Just your country or all countries. Who are you competing against? Everyone or a select few.
Re: Who are you competing against on RowPro
My interest is in the age-group, weight and gender ranking that C2 apply to any ranked piece. It is interesting to see how a trial compares within the whole community of ergers but that's a very secondary consideration.

Re: Who are you competing against on RowPro
Basically everyone in your age, sex and weight group with an entry via RowPro or a C2Log or an IND_V and I just ignore the rest as they are not verified !
Also just a note is you want a fast 2K, don't do it online like I did as essentially it's a race start and you loose at least a second or even more as opposed to the timer starting on your first pull when your flywheel is already moving. Obviously this is not really a big deal on a longer row but for the 2K and the 500M its a no go although if your also rowing with several others online at your pace or faster you could argue it's a motivator to do a better time than you would on your own.
