All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 3.4.13

Post by Kona2 » March 5th, 2013, 4:41 pm

FYSA - Hah! I love this acronym. The Concept2 "situation" is making the Military Challenge more challenging by the day....maybe there is some real red tape there....welcome almost back to our virtual teammates who are out there on the galactic fringe. I suggest an email to rowing@concept2.com to see if we can prod things along.

Naw, the PGB was waking up from her nap, so I had to abandon erg before landing a righteous 27. However, I did offer a number palindrome, for your consideration!

I'm making room in my closet for my new, soon-to-be-awarded (surely!), Concept2 March Madness tee shirt.

And so you did row a right to left or left to right 10,301 m! As for the C2 March Madness win.....I do note that last year (and in previous years)TWO prizes were awarded on the 27th of March...one for 5K and one for 10K....wouldn't that just be a perfect day for just27 to win??? May the odds be ever in your favor....

Mom Moose with calf

Post by Kona2 » March 6th, 2013, 2:59 pm

Friend Alice (who is sometimes a rower) sends a picture of moose(s) that were munching on the willows on her property up in one of the canyons near Boulder. Very cool to be able to get a close up of a mom moose...especially when her calf is right there.

Snow still blanketing the ground; and 1,000 pound, surprisingly fast moving critters ... all quite charming from a distance! (But, yes, all baby animals are cute.)
