Love it, AJ! Thanks! It is definitely worth the pain I am in at the moment from pulling all those meters today. Gooo, Army!

Wow, Richard, even though you are Navy you are doing amazing - what a powerhouse!

And now, Doctor Dan, one especially for you...Honduras again...

Image FIVE days to row...

ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage .. and Navy's STILL leading Army...

Meanwhile.....March is fast approaching...that time when everybody is a little bit Irish. In fact, this year Ireland is hosting a gathering of the clans...and The Gathering could well include some on this team....I wonder if teammate Karyn is one of these Gallaghers?? http://www.thegatheringireland.com

Gallagher Clan Global Gathering 2013

About this Gathering

The Gallagher Clan are an Irish family whose roots extend back into the mists of ancient times. The Gallagher Clan organisation came together in 2005 to collect, conserve and celebrate the Gallagher heritage. Clan gatherings are part of that celebration. Having held the 1st world record breaking Gallagher Global Gathering in 2007 the 2nd is now planned for Co. Donegal.

The week-long Gathering (6th - 14th September 2013) will see local communities along Donegal’s north and west coast celebrate their Gallagher and Donegal heritage and in so doing, welcome both local and visiting Gallaghers to join with them in events to celebrate that heritage.

A quick check of the Military Challenge board shows that our TDY teammates are making progress (some of them even send home notes to Mom I'll bet), yet Navy is STILL leading Army...and has crossed the FIVE million meter challenge milestone. RIchard T is at 950 K adjusted meters, so we'll watch for his military challenge meter millionaire opportunity. AJ is getting really close to 500 K, Danno is close to 350K, Kristine to 250 K (and is that a TOOTH you're holding up in that Honduras photo?!!), Eric is near 150 K, and Mike M is working on 100 K. Go Navy. Go Army. Go Challenge. Three more days...four if you count today.

Welcome, Road Runner Alison. We hope you enjoy rowing as a cross training activity, and know that bg will encourage you to row! Here's wishing you lots of good training sessions - whether you row or run.

Season meters as of 299/365 = 116,027,529 m

Gotta say that I have seen the MIBs designed for Kristine and for Eric...and they are worth putting in those meters to reach them (just about a full marathon's distance for Kristine...who has been in the jungle, the mighty jungle...and a little more distance for Eric A...). There is STILL time! To the MIBs!!

So by my math I have 56,037m to go to get my very own MIB. Assuming that I start tomorrow (Tuesday) and row Wednesday and Thursday, I just need to average 18,679m a day... Challenge Accepted :D

Best,
Eric

Yeah, that's a tooth. Each patient was limited to no more than 4 teeth pulled per visit, but not everyone needed that many pulled. That was the only dental service our clinic provided. I volunteered there on my off time. I was a medic, not a dental tech.

Capt K,

Looks like the proper grip for 53L forcep gettin' down on an UL molar. Also like the fact that you were seated, much easier on your back than standing. Any chance you want to come to FL and work?
