setting up 100km row in row pro or on PM4
Hi could someone please advise how to set up the 100,000m (100km) row on preferably row pro or alternatively on the PM4. I have tried on both and i can only set 99,999m.

Why is 1 mtr so important? It will anyhow never be exactly 100k on the machine, there will always be a certain percentage deviation.

It depends on how important ranking is. 100k is one of the events that can be ranked, but, since it cannot be recorded by the monitor, it can be verified only by some other method than entering it online via the logcard. I don't know about using RowPro for entering data to the online base.Livio Livius wrote:Why is 1 mtr so important? If you look on the 'Rankings' page, you can see a number of 100km entries by 'row pro'. So technically it can be done. I don't know how to set it up now.

From http://www.concept2.com/indoor-rowers/r ... quirements
If using a PM3/PM4, on the Main Menu, choose Select Workout > New Workout > Intervals: Variable. This will enable you to set a single distance interval of 100,000 meters, with a rest interval of 0:00.

Set one interval of 100,000m
You could also set 10 * 10,000m intervals with 0:00 rest time (if you want some split times).
The same should be possible with RowPro.

Just curiosity. There is noooo way that I would attempt a 100k. But doesn't the use of intervals preclude validation? It appears to me that there is no way to get a PM validation of any event longer than a FM.Citroen wrote:Main menu --> Select workout --> New workout --> Intervals:Variablelearjetayson wrote:Hi could someone please advise how to set up the 100,000m (100km) row on preferably row pro or alternatively on the PM4. You can get a validation code for ANY workout. Try it, you can row an "Intervals:Variable for 100m with 0:00" workout and get a verification code.
It's the online ranking system that decides if it's valid, not the PM3 or PM4.

Whoops - yeah, I remember now. I suppose then that the blue ranking button shows up for 100k on the online log, as it does for all the other ranked events. Not that I will ever see one for that distance.Citroen wrote:You can get a validation code for ANY workout. Can it be set up in RowPro as one continual row?
