I generally watch foreign films on Netflix with subtitles on. This works well because I get to watch films the rest of the family wouldn't usually be interested in watching and the subtitles make me focus on something else other than the meter counting down!

Those who have to row at the local Y and gyms really have to be pretty flexible - especially if there are just two ergs (which seems to be the usual). Good luck on the full moon. Timely.

During the week I usually just watch Sports Center. I can figure out what is going on without listening to the commentators. Or sometimes I'll watch shows like Man vs. Wild or How they were made. I don't always need the dialogue to follow those either. When I do a long piece on the weekend, I either watch a high action movie I have already seen so that I don't need the dialogue so much or I blast the volume. On the weekends I erg a little later in the day so it is not disruptive to sleep patterns. I keep thinking I'm going to try subtitiles, but haven't done it yet.

Whoop, whoop and hooyah! Should have known that a Challenge that involved watercraft would be one that truly appealed to this teammate! They say that good things come in threes....and Ronnie has certainly been rowing some good meters! Congratulations, Ronnie, on achieving a THREE million meter rowing season! We wish you many, MANY more !!

That number 3 graphic always reminds me of the song Red Rubber Ball.....which was a Simon and Garfunkel tune...but seems that it was popularized by a different group...just a mini-bunny trail in the middle of a celebration....

Image Day 25 or 26 of 31....is it over yet?!

Erg is being thought of as urg by many at this point in the Challenge....but wait....there's MORE !! We have seven days (including today) to gather as many TEAM meters as we can. Every single meter counts - so if you only have time for some instead of MEGA....it's all good. This is the time of the Challenge when I know I have to tell myself...finish what you've started..don't say "that's good enough."

The song was written by Paul Simon and performed by a one-hit -wonder band called the Cyrkle
The lyrics tell us what the song is all about.
