LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Another Canoe !! It's Rick !
Wowzer - what a fancy bike helmet! Rick's ready for the rapids now (wait...did they tell you there would be rapids? ). Great to see another canoe in the virtual waters! Way to row!

Another Canoe..it's Peter Huurman!
You never know what virtual waters you might find this canoe in....he's been all over the world, and MIGHT be in Netherlands now...but we can't be sure! Lots of canals to get about in over there, as long as they don't freeze over....say...we could have the first canoe equipped with skates... Way to row, Peter!

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
How do you movie/TV watchers watch while rowing? Wouldn't you need to have the volume up reeeeeally loud to hear it over the rower?
Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Subtitles! They fill in the gaps, when you don't want to blast the neighbors with 100% volume. I find that most movies and TV series have captions available in the set-up.onoratim wrote:How do you movie/TV watchers watch while rowing? I use cordless headphones. Not too much TV but do use them a lot for audiobooks.
Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
LOL, I must be one of the special ones who has to all of my rowing at the local YMCA; They only have two ergs, so I'm always stressing out that the staff are going to kick me out for using the machine too long! And no TV's I guess I'll see what they do when I go for my first full marathon tomorrowonoratim wrote:How do you movie/TV watchers watch while rowing? I never use headphones or music when I row; the whir of the fan blades and my breathing combine to become an almost meditative mantra that I find very relaxing
