A member of an indoor rowing team or club? If so, this is the place for you.

Can this one team row to the moon and back?

I see that some people have rowed 45,000M+ in a day, how is that possible? Maybe i'm doing something wrong :?

They may be compiling a few past days of workouts into a single day.

And some people are just machines...Not me mind you, but some

The team standings are posted. If you go to your TEAM page on C2's website you will see a link under Team Challenges: "View Virtual Team Challenge 2013 Team Standings". If you click on that it will bring you to the standings. Currently we are in 2nd place for our overall team standings! Way to row Loonies! I posted down to # 17 as that is my real life on the water team. (They'd be in 15th place if my meters were counting towards them, but they are not. I've chosen to share my meters with my Lunatic friends.)

The Return of the Armoonda!

Our resident artist, AJ, says the Armoonda (our fleet of canoes with rowers headed for the moon) will indeed sail. Here's the deal:

At 100,000 Challenge meters, you get a seat in the canoe. At 200,000 m - you get an oar (always helpful).

To get a "personalized" rowing native, you will need to post a photo on your team profile page by January 17th. Photo has to be of you, the human, to be specialized (although we all enjoy all the other photos) - and, if you don't wish to do that, then you will get a generic native gal or guy. The first "person" in the 2010 canoe above is a generic native woman. The second person is Baz, and the third is Karyn - proudly wearing her real rowing team's hat.

I loved seeing myself there in my NHRC hat. (I do always wear a hat when rowing.) It is for this reason alone that I couldn't leave the Loonies for this challenge. I need to earn my seat in the boat and get myself an oar!!!

Thank you AJ for keeping our Armoonda (our fleet of canoes with rowers headed for the moon) afloat.

Thank you Jan for all the statistics you keep and bunny trails you lead us down!

Woo hoo, AJ! Thanks so much for that! I have surely enjoyed using mine from last year as my forum profile pic all year long. The anticipation to see your handiwork was very motivating. But now I don't recall how I got in the bathtub.
