I think you've officially made the Polar Bear club, Kyle! I just don't think it occurred to C2 to QA the erg under those conditions... :)

Jonathan, what an AMAZING coincidence that you just happen to have surround-sound in your photography gallery. You must produce some epic soundtracks to accompany your gallery shows. It would be a shame to waste that power while you row, too...

The whole reason I row on the erg instead of water is I'm afraid of capsizing... I guess you're never truly safe anywhere...

Glad to have you with us. Is there any chance you could keep looking? Perhaps there's a dynamic C2 in there for me! Your basement sounds awesome!

I switched to the mega large print to watch my progress, I was clipping along about 1:55-1:58/500m. When I tried to upload the workout it wasn't there, "like it never even happened". It sure felt like me in the snow bank rowing, oh well the fitness benefits are mine to keep! Happy New Year!
Very cool!

As you’re probably aware, I pulled some strings and got people in New York to drop a ball in Times Square to represent TimbukTWO’s participation in VTC 2013! Unfortunately, I got so involved in getting the crowds & confetti ready, and in getting television coverage, that I forgot to have the ball emblazoned with TimbukTWO’s logo! I guess that will have to wait until next year…
I’m gratified that rowers weren’t too intimidated by my fearsome visage, and signed up in droves for Team TimbukTWO, to row 2013’s Virtual Team Challenge with us! We’re now up to 52 going on 65!
From our year-long affiliation: Fred B, Matthew R, Sheryl M, Bernie J, Brent C & Mark S!
From TimbukTWO: Mark Albrecht, Katie Laud & Danny Alexander!
And some “new blood”: Jeff Newman, Job Rabinowitz, John Lemley & the great Erin Mullin!
Thanks to all for signing up with TimbukTWO, we truly appreciate it! [insert group hug here] Now, let’s amaze together!
(For a couple of hours, TimbukTWO was in 1st place with 25K…)

I started off the VTC by improving my Nonathlon ranking (down to #162) with a PB 13,859m in 60'! I’d rather row for 60' than 2k any day!

Rockin' way to start off, man! That and Izz's method of staying up past midnight just to get TimBukTWO on the board first... :P

I'm off to try the "Hummingbird Jedi Mind-Trick" method of attaining 15k. :D

Row strong, team!
