Hi Ladies,
I have back and belly fat after turning 30 last year and now it seems it doesn't want to budge. I used to compete in rowing and have been active in fitness since the age of 14 so you think I would some idea of getting rid of it???
Any advice would be wonderful.
Thank you
Back and belly fat problem...
Re: Back and belly fat problem...
I've dropped a ton of fat, especially visceral (inside the belly) without going hungry, since going vegan a few years ago. Jean size is smaller than in college. Check out "eat to live", "forks over knives" and "engine 2 diet" for whole food plant based eating references. Vigorous working out really helps too.

I agree with a low fat vegan diet. Some vegan diets can be high in fat. My husband and I went on the DrMcdougall.com diet as well as Essystyn's Heartattackproof.com diet in 2008. We did this for heart health, but we both dropped 10 lbs (and we are both thin to begin with). I'm now 5'7 1/2" and 117. Anyway, we eat all that we want, but our food is whole grains, beans, veggies, and fruit with no added fats of any kind. We both feel great and have lots of energy. We workout daily-biking, pickleball, weight training, cycling, rowing and never run out of energy. By the way, we are 63 and 74 years old and never felt better. I would highly recommend a fat free vegan diet for overall health and well being. Good luck. Denise
