Wow, am I glad you surmounted your sulkiness, and got your sense of humor back... Hey, where are you going with your ball & bat? Lisa? LISA? One of my grandmothers would've never let any man know that she sweated. The other one would have lifted the C2 over her head with one hand for 15 reps. (When she was 78 years old, there was a very heavy box for my wife to carry, & my grandma quickly grabbed & carried it herself in case my wife was "in the family way"!)

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Just got my full Sandy family update:
My 81yo father in Brooklyn, New Yawk has his cellphone, power & water.
One sister & brother in Joisey got their power back on last night, one sister is still without power.
My little brother in Lower Manhattan (okay, not so little - he's 350 pounds) has no power or water, plus they evacuated patients from the hospital at which his wife works. The news said that some patients were carried on stretchers down 18 flights of stairs... one of those times you don't want to hear the word "Whoops!"
My nephew in the Rockaways (Queens, NY) still has 3 inches of water in his apartment. (Hypothetical question: If he ergs in his apartment, would those meters count as OTE (on the erg) or OTW (on the water)?)
All in all, a good time is being had by all...

Glad no one suffered any injury! Still, what a nightmare for everyone who went through it and very sad about the loss of life. I saw the news item about the patients being carried down 18 flights -- yoiks!Izzzmeister wrote:Just got my full Sandy family update:

I'm not much for the "holiday" myself, but my kids went as Transformers. While I am a big fan of sentient humanoid robots, I have difficulty rearranging my component parts. Perhaps I should stretch first.Izzzmeister wrote:Andy I - 3,982 What’s your costume for tonight?

I think that this is the one time that the rules would weigh in his favor - they should count for both.Izzzmeister wrote:...

***Humidity makes a significant difference in rowing difficulty***
Today I rowed my typical 10k at a moderate pace(2:14.5). BUT it felt like it was at a more difficult pace. The only difference being that last night I ate a chicken quasadilla from taco bell and this morning the humidity was at 99%. Its seems like my desert rows were much easier when compared. Maybe I'm just feeling fatigued from the quasadilla

--- Mathineer are you good at dynamic wind load calculations? This humidity thing has me stumped.
Where are the math/physics nerds when you need them?
