Wow Ron! I guess you got your erg fixed. How many meters did you do yesterday? You're going to be able to coast to 1M.

If we're going to get 3rd, it'll be a team effort. I'm running on fumes. Unless the people right behind me step it up, I'm going to coast in at 40 to 45k a day. My goal was 10 percent over last year, and I'm ahead of pace for that.

Image Day 25/26 of 31

Woohoo! We've got some good rowing going on! Yesterday, the Luna-Tics Challenge team slipped into fourth place thanks to a great meter upload by challenger Greenville Indoor Rowing. At the time, we were about 100 K down. Earlier this morning, we were still 60 K down. Now we're only 45 K down. Things are looking up! Keep rowing what you can, when you can! If you can add just ten or fifteen minutes to your rowing session, all those incremental meters will sure make a difference. And, if you're hanging on to some meters for a later upload, we could sure use the meter boost about now. Would love to see us reach one hundred percent participation. Right now, we have meters from 60 of the 70 registered teammates. Give the erg handle a pull - and get on the challenge meter board !! :D

100 percent participation by all the Overcoming Disabilities Challenge team members - and holding steady at 16th. Still well within the top ten percent of all Challenge teams!

Meanwhile, welcome back to Kim W for the 2013 Rowing Season...and welcome to new team member Matthew B ! Great to have you aboard !

Season meters as of 160/365 = 69,538,349 m

We don't always know what's happening to our teammates in this virtual community - or what kinds of battles they might be fighting. Several weeks ago, Sunny took herself off the team roster. A few days later, she returned with a resolute statement that she couldn't row for awhile because of illness. In her team profile, she said she put herself back on the roster because she felt that she could add cheer and support the team. I'll bet she was like that. Sunny ultimately lost her battle - and is probably skating with the angels now (teaching them a few skating tricks I think). I put a few 8's in my rowing session today in memory of someone who made us smile - and who had a lot of courage.

Hooyah for Sunny!

Thanks Sunny...

And I've missed so much in here recently, but back on board after my various diversions...(forgot to log last night's metres also)

Cheers BBB
