I've reminded the fellow twice now to just send me the tiny little file. --- and real nice like -- as of yet no graphics file. He is still doing some vinyl for my truck, maybe Monday -- The file I used for the kokopelli guy was EPS, I could not open the high resolution version so I sent it to the printer. Anyway, if I don't get by Monday I will download ghostscript and install it on my computer so my program (GIMP) can open eps files. I will then redraw it myself in high resolution and then send it out. Heck I may do that anyway. wheww! ------ My wife always tells me "delayed gratification is good for your character". I set a new personal record today --- I took 50 seconds off my fastest 10k, it was pretty tough, but I made it. BARELY made sub 47 minutes(46:59.4)- Still in the bottom 25% but rising -- 2:20.9 pace -- not bad for a fat out of shape trucker. In fact I would wager to say that I'm probably one of the fastest fat out of shape truckers on earth. And possibly the fastest! :D

Jeez, man, I'm in technology and I didn't understand half what you said about the graphics stuff! I dub thee an honorary geek. Keep us posted.

Congrats on getting so fast! You're already faster than me. I'm usually 2:27 or so for distances. How are you feeling since you've started rowing consistently?

And I've put Stripes on my Netflix rowing queue in your honor! :D

That was rest. I skipped my morning 5k.

When the FTC started, I established a 2k personal best to base my Wolverine Plan training on. Today I rowed a 3k, 2.5k, and 2k at that same pace all in the same session. :o

Hardly a geek, more a google hound instead. GIMP is an open source graphics manipulation program that will do just about anything, BUT not everything, and the fix is usually a booger bear (for me). Especially if you are NOT into computers. I thought others may be using GIMP and would like to know the fix -- As well as the reason I haven't sent/posted the file.

How are you feeling since you've started rowing consistently?
I feel a little leaner and a little meaner, but I'm in perpetual recuperation mode. Everyday off I recoup, everyday on I'm beat after the workout unless its just an easy fatburn workout(2:30+ pace). I've been doing easy fat burn workouts after my intense workouts. "Every other day" workouts only - per previous discussion. That seems to be working for both weight loss and conditioning. I haven't weighed myself since I started rowing but my pants are looser. And my stomach doesn't pooch out as much.

I've put Stripes on my Netflix rowing queue
Stripes is great! After that you'll have to add "The Three Amigos" And don't forget to sing along at the "My little buttercup" song and dance scene.

If it were no trouble for her. It should be a no brainer if her program can open eps files.

Here is the link to the concept2 logo --> .eps zip file -- http://www.seeklogo.com/concept2-rowing ... 34428.html

All she would have to do is cut out the kokopelli rowing guy and place TIMBUKTOO under it in Matisse ITC. Its a microsoft font so it should be on her computer. But don't worry about it if shes not up for it. I'll get that graphics file come hell or high water on Monday. I paid for it, I'll get it.

Thanks,
TMike

I'll show this to her and let her make the decision - my guess is that she should be able to get it done fairly easily. We're on a Mac, so hopefully she'll be able to find the correct font.

In what format would you like the final product?

Here is what she has as a draft for review. She can get you a PDF or EPS, let us know what format you need. Also, she says that she came as close as she could with color. If you want a slightly different blue, let us know - rgb or cmyk numbers would be ideal.
