Now that the cooler, drier weather is here (for now), I am making some progress again. Just rowed 16,431 in 60 min; a 1:49.5/500M pace, and a new PB for me. :D

Well it has been a whole week since I was on a rower.... talk about feeling out of sync now that I am back. Yo and I went on a kayaking vacation down to Martin Dies state park in Texas They have 3 paddling trails that we did and a number of hiking trails. The weather was great.... HOT HOT HOT...... after paddling for about 4 hours each day it looked like we had been swimming instead. :-) had a great time on the trails and in on the Neches river... Even got to see a few Gators in the which was pretty cool .... "Don't Roll in a kayak you may not come up with your head" I will have some photo's after I get back to the grind. Glad to see that everyone is doing great, welcome to our new members.

Glen B - 7,000 WELCOME BACK, MAN!! How are all the hurty bits?
The hurty bits are still hurting, but I'm giving up and getting back to rowing. I figure that I can either have shoulder problems and be out of shape, or have shoulder problems and get back in shape! :)

I'm going to try to take it easy, but I'm not real good at that...

I had a look at the Wolverine plan Andy was talking about... They gear a pretty specific program all around your best 2k time, and give you a neat-o chart on what split times to aim for in your various workouts. The problem is the charted times don't go down slow enough to reach my pitiful efforts. So, sadly, I won't be able to put the plan to use. Jim's PBs are probably safe from being overtaken by me, anyway.

Glad you're back, David!! Sounds like a great trip. Maybe I ought to import a few gators for my living room. That may improve my 2k times!

Glen, better fit hurty-bits than floppy ones! Glad you're back in the boat, but take it easy.
