I hear ya. This week is the first challenging meter total and I have family in town till next Wednesday. I am having to do longer rows in any free time I can find just to stay on track.

Nope, no ankle issues here. I'm just fitting the rowing into my running half-marathon training. My short rows tend to be on days I do "harder" runs. Yesterday, for instance, was a speed workout. Also, I'm crunched for time when I row in the mornings at the gym.

However, the best news is that I just received my new Model D PM4 (black) from Concept2. Inaugural row this afternoon was my second workout of the day. It's going to be so much more convenient to be able to row at home...watching TV. :-)

Sorry Rob, I don't see so well sometimes and my comment was meant for Ron M.

Congratulations on the delivery of your new baby!! It sure does make it convenient! I have my own little dedicated A/V area for rowing. Your next purchase may be a set of TV Ears!!

Congrats! I'm a touch jealous despite having a perfectly good rower of my own.

Rob M / Ron M. Very close. Maybe I can just be mardix from now on. That's how I'm called in most of the rest of the world.

Oh and the ankle is slowly getting better - two steps forward and one back. I managed a full hour this morning and will see how things feel this evening.

I have thought about adding a "nickname" feature to the stats program; right now it only uses the registered first and last names that appear on the affiliation page. Maybe something to think about...

Ankles take a lllloooooooonnnnnngggg time to completely heal. I sprained both mine (luckily not at the same time) last year and it was months before they were pain free and I had full range of motion back. Hang in there...

With our recent team expansion, we are now in a very strong 8th place in the team standings. Let's hang on!! We have our work cut out for us if we're going to threaten the team just ahead of us, as they have something on the order of 8 million meters on us.

Keep rowing strong, TimBukTOO!

I learned about them from these forums, but haven't used it myself. Here's a thread on it: http://www.c2forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=11728
