Hi Team,

I hit a million meters tonight - I know it is not in this rowing season, but when I started in March it was my goal to make this happen. Working 16 hour days has made it difficult but being able to read how everyone has different challanges and it really is a mind over matter. I will continue on making my million meters this season as well. along the way I have lost 30 pounds and feel so much better!

Thanks to all the motivation you all write - even if you don't know it when you write it, I make a point of checking in daily on how everyone else is doing. Brett - your story is awesome.... congratulations on your life changes and the birth of your new child.

Kona - I can't thank you enough for keeping the stats and post for us to stay in touch.

Congrats on that first million Ed. Sounds like you're having the same kind of quick success that I had when I started. Getting those meters in despite the obstacles along the way only makes the accomplishment that much more meaningful. Be proud of your accomplishment and leverage that pride into doing a little more that you thought you could do. In all cases of mind over matter, remember that if you don't mind, it don't matter.
